The Rose Garden at Bagatelle, in the Parc de Bagatelle in Paris (Bois de Boulogne) is one of the largest rose gardens and the oldest in France. Initiated and managed by the City of Paris, it was created in 1905 by landscape architect Jean Claude Nicolas Forestier (1861-1930). This rose is one of five collections of roses, France, labeled "national collection" by the Conservatory of specialized plant collections.
The Rose Garden at Bagatelle has about 9500 plants representing approximately 1100 rose varieties.

Parc de Bagatelle was purchased by the City of Paris in 1905. The curator of the gardens of Paris, Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier in charge of his rehabilitation has focused on making the park a botanical garden collections, without destroying the harmony of the previous arrangements. It has transformed areas of the park food gardens show to exhibit the collections of various flowers and among these collections, the famous rose garden at Bagatelle.
